“Draymond Green is gonna kick his ass in the locker room” – Jordan Poole’s RECKLESS game-changing shot attempt leaves NBA Twitter in disbelief

Jordan Poole is going to have a hard time getting over this terrible loss against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Golden State Warriors suffered a close, 5-point loss to the LeBron James-led LA Lakers. The game ended at 117-112, favoring the Lakers after one of the most embarrassing sequences in recent basketball history. Poole, according to the fuming Warriors fans on social media, is the one to blame for this Warriors’ loss.
With just about 10 seconds remaining in the game, Stephen Curry passed the ball to Draymond Green. Green saw that Jordan Poole was wide open and therefore passed the ball to him. Courtesy of the fact that Poole was wide open, he had the ability to pass the all around. Despite the Warriors trailing by just 3 points at that point in time, Poole, who was over 30 feet from the rim, decided to shoot. To no one’s surprise, he missed, resulting in chaos.
The entire NBA Twitter went haywire after this terrible Game IQ decision made by Poole, who could’ve changed the game. Instead, Poole thought it was a great idea to shoot from a distance even Curry would think twice from at that stage in the game. Fans called Poole all sorts of names as they ridiculed the player on Twitter for his awful shot resulting in the Warriors’ loss.

Anthony Davis led the way for the Lakers’ victory with 30 points, five assists, and 25 rebounds. LeBron James followed with 22 points, four assists, and 11 rebounds, while D’Angelo Russell and Dennis Schroder came a close third with 19 points each. For the Warriors, Stephen Curry led the team, scoring 27 points, three assists, and six rebounds. Klay Thompson then followed with 25 points, four assists, and three rebounds.
Despite the team’s tremendous effort, Jordan Poole’s shot proved to be the game-changing moment. The Golden State Warriors were close throughout the game, but that one-shot attempt from Poole made the Lakers skim past the defending champions.
With Poole having such a terrible attempt at the game-winning 3-pointer, NBA Twitter was definitely not letting him go. People called him words, while others joked about Draymond Green wanting to “beat his A**.” NBA Twitter went into a frenzy as soon as Poole missed, leading to some hilarious reactions.
