NBA players always have a knack for going beyond the game with their appearance. Many players choose to accessorize themselves with their apparel. However, many also have an interesting approach that involves their hairstyle. During Game 3 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks, Josh Hart pulled everyone’s attention with his new unique hairstyle.

The guard came off the bench to score 13 points in what turned out to be a Knicks victory. New York won Game 3 by 20 points to take a 2-1 series lead. However, that is not why Hart was the center of attention today. His hair, dreaded into the New York Knicks logo, had fans in awe. As many were speechless, the dreads were shaped in the letter ‘N’ and ‘Y’ encircled in another round of dreaded hair.

Dreaded hair is a very common hairstyle for players in the NBA. Players like Anthony Davis, Ja Morant, Jimmy Butler, Dillon Brooks, Derrick Rose, etc, have all rocked dreads at some point in their careers. Even Stephen Curry had the staple NBA hairstyle for one season. However, Josh Hart put a completely new spin on the look, making it an iconic fashion statement.

Josh Hart’s new look didn’t go in vain as the Knicks got one step closer to the Conference Semi-Finals. New York has looked this season because of players like Hart and Jalen Brunson. Although the Cavaliers still have a healthy shot at winning the series, playing away from home in Game 4 will certainly not be easy. Seeing how Donovan Mitchell and Co. rise to the challenge will be interesting. Will the Cavs tie the series 2-2, or will the Knicks make it 3-1 at home? We’ll have to wait to find out.
