“Bro was struggling go eat a couple lunchables” Jusuf Nurkic humiliates 7’feet former MVP, Kevin Durant, with disrespectful ‘small’ gesture, fans react
Jusuf Nurkic and Kevin Durant
Portland Trail Blazers star Jusuf Nurkic clashed with Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant when their teams played against each other. Apparently, their one-to-one face-off didn’t go well. Jusuf even gestured something that disrespected a player of KD’s caliber.
The Blazers took on the Nets and it was just the beginning of the game, with the Nets leading by a few points. The possession of the ball was with Jusuf Nurkic of Portland. He tried to charge in but Kevin stood in front of him like a big wall. Jusuf attempted to drill in but Kevin didn’t allow him resulting in a defensive foul.
As soon as the referee called for a foul, Kevin wasn’t happy with this and he demanded an explanation from the referee for the same. That’s when Jusuf gestured ‘small’ toward Kevin and they got engaged in banter. Fans from the NBA world gave out mixed reactions as some of which can be seen below:
Kevin Durant adds another feather to his cap as the Brooklyn Nets edge past Portland Trailblazers
Kevin Durant led the Brooklyn Nets to a comprehensive, yet close win over the Portland Trail Blazers 109-107. Durant led the Nets with 35 points and with this, he became the 19th player in the NBA to score 26,000 points. Royce O’Neale had 11 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, Yuta Watanabe added 20 points off the bench. Ben Simmons scored a season-high 15 points before fouling out with 24 seconds left.
For Portland, Damian Lillard had 25 points and 11 assists. Durant led the show as the Nets ended their West Coast road trip with a win. They bettered their record by 7-9 and will look to keep the winning run. Nets star Kyrie Irving is set to return when the Nets take on the Memphis Grizzlies. All eyes will be on his behavior in the league after he was suspended for posting a link to a movie with antisemitic content.
At the same time, it is still unclear whether he will be included in the starting line-up or coming off the bench as he has been out of the game for almost 20 days now. The Nets fans will be hoping that Kyrie’s return will only add to their profits and not their misery hereafter, thus, taking them to a title win.
