American rapper Kanye West has always ensured he remains in the headlines for many infamous reasons. This time as well, he made it to the news for his wild allegations. He highlighted quite a few renowned names from the NBA world who can be puppets of someone’s hands.
A tweet went viral where a video featured Kanye West making some shocking allegations. He quoted, “My momma was sacrificed, Michael Jordan, what about him? His dad, right? Bill Cosby, his son, right? Dr. Dre, his son. Out here in Hollywood, a lot of people come up missing. Feels like it might be a lot of that in order to control, traumatize.”
“They wanna monetize and traumatize. And God love me. They hit me. GAP, Adidas, all that away. Still, Forbes, who hate me, had to write, ‘Net worth: $400 million.’” Kanye tried to refer to famous NBA legend LeBron James, who produced an episode on ‘The Shop,’ that featured Kanye.
But James later denied broadcasting it as Kanye was promoting hate speech and was being stereotypic. Apparently, James had also condemned antisemitism after Brooklyn Nets suspended their star Kyrie Irving. Kanye also roped in former NBA stars Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley, who had spoken against him when he came to support the Nets’ suspended player.
He quoted, “They can control Shaq, Charles Barkley. They can control LeBron James. They can control Jay Z & Beyoncé but they can’t control me. There’s no name I won’t name… I’ve never killed anyone so I can say whatever I want & not go to jail.”
Kanye West was the front-runner to support Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving
Kanye West resurfaced on the social media app when he supported Kyrie Irving. Recently Kyrie tweeted a link to a film having antisemitic content. He faced a massive backlash for the same and was even handed a five games ban. Kyrie did defend himself by stating that we’re in 2022 and the movie is available on Amazon which is a public platform.
Kyrie added that whether to watch the movie or not is an individual choice and that there are things that are constantly being posted every day. Kanye then stated, that Irving is one of the ‘real ones’ still around hinting that he is on Kyrie’s side. However, nothing of this could save Kyrie from being suspended and now he will have to meet a list of terms in order to make a comeback to the court.
