Kendrick Perkins and Shannon Sharpe recently gave Giannis Antetokounmpo his flowers as they announced that the Greek Freak is the best player in the world. Both Kendrick Perkins and Shannon Sharpe are big time analysts and sports show hosts at companies like ESPN and others so they aren’t the one to sell anything just for the sake of getting it viral or making it to the headlines and the Bucks leader too deserves the respect they are giving him. The Milwaukee Bucks under the leadership of Giannis Antetokounmpo beating up and manhandling the Chicago Bulls are now facing the Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led-Boston Celtics in the eastern conference semi finals. The series was tied at 1-1 but the Greek God himself got the job done and the Buck now lead by 2-1.

The Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Boston Celtics at Fiserv Forum for Game 3. It was an important match-up and the Bucks getting the last laugh secured the lead. The game was head to head and closely contested that it came down to the final 0.1 second remaining on the clock where a tap in layup by AL Horford which would have forced overtime was waived off by the officials correctly as it was not timed perfectly. The final box score stands at 103-101 favoring the Milwaukee Bucks. Both the teams had a horrible shooting night but Giannis Antetokounmpo with his great offensive and defensive skillsets backed up the Milwaukee Bucks and won the game putting a stop on the Celtics who almost made a comeback during the final minutes.

Giannis Antetokounmpo gets the most credits for the win. As in the game, he dropped a 40-point bomb on Celtics’ head and got himself 42 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. He was backed up by Jrue Holiday who scored 25 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo was godlike throughout the game even though he was fouled many a time as the series is so far the most physicially contested one. But nothing was enough to stop the beast he is. So Kendrick Perkins and Shannon Sharpe calling him out as the best player in the world makes sense.

Btw his name is GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO!!! Carry the hell on…” Even Shannon Sharpe took his appreciation on Twitter and wrote: “How long are ppl going to keep denying Giannis is the best player in the ?? IF* 42-12-8 and doesn’t convince you against that defensive tm. Nothing will. What a gm. ????? #NBAPlayoffs #BucksVSCeltics.”

Both Kendrick Perkins and Shannon Sharpe have their debate of the best player in the world clear and the answer is Giannis Antetokounmpo. But many disagree as they have their star ranked higher than Bucks loyal leader who carried the team to a championship and also won the FMVP without much help throughout the stretch. The defending champions are really playing like the defending champions and now with Giannis Antetokounmpo showcasing his greats and heroics on both ends they have a real shot at running it back once again.
