Kendrick Perkins recently appreciated James Harden’s applaud-worthy sacrifice for making the Philadelphia 76ers better. As The Beard proved the world that he is a real one for the Sixers and is serious about winning a championship there as he suits up alongside Joel Embiid. James Harden to make the team better and get the right improvements and adjustments made willingly took the financial hit and agreed for a $15 million pay cut. There was really no need for him to do that but he knew what has to be done and went the right way to make sure the team is capable of getting the job done.
In an interview, James Harden even talked about it and quoted: “I had conversations with Daryl, and it was explained how we could get better and what the market value was for certain players. I told Daryl to improve the roster, sign who we needed to sign and give me whatever is left over. This is how bad I want to win. I want to compete for a championship. That’s all that matters to me at this stage. I’m willing to take less to put us in position to accomplish that…I think we have a much deeper team. That’s something we wanted to address. If you look at our team now, we’re positioned to go a lot further. I like how we stack up with the rest of the top teams.” The actions of his already have many around impressed and Kendrick Perkins is one of them. As Kendrick Perkins and many others believe the Sixers now can get it done.
James Harden’s sacrifice has really worked for the franchise and they’ll be thankful to The Beard for it. As the franchise recently has made some valuable signings of players like P.J. Tucker, Danuel House, De’Anthony Melton, Trevelin Queen and still they can create a few more spots. This has brought them into the conversation as with all these additions they’ll have a healthy duo of James Harden and Joel Embiid running the pick and roll system and dominating the rivals. Kendrick Perkins spectating it all recently gave his flowers to The Beard and this time it was pure as he didn’t end up criticizing him.

Kendrick Perkins in a recent interview of his appreciated James Harden’s actions to be on the winning end and quoted: “He opted out $47 million and taking less money. See I am not a person who wanna hear words or a player talk about it. His actions are actually speaking. As when you opt out and take less money…but yes his actions are saying ‘let’s get this done, I want to win a championship, I want to go out here, and I want to build.’ They acquire P.J. Tucker who James Harden is very familiar with, good friends with… I have been here I have lived in the H-Town he is been living in the Gym. He’s been working… He is proving he is all in and he has lost himself in the team and I do think he’ll come back as the better version of what he did in last season in the postseason.”
Kendrick Perkins is very right with his words and the whole take. As James Harden has really been that guy as he lately is the biggest game changer in the league and the Sixers got the most from him. So now many around the league and Perk wait for the season to start so they can spectate the Sixers take over, and if they get the job done this season no matter how good or bad Harden plays he’ll be the one behind it as he helped the front office to stack the team up.
