Once again, No. 30 lifted the Warriors to victory, this time a 107-97 triumph over the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the NBA Finals at TD Garden as the series returns to San Francisco currently tied at two wins apiece. Stephen Curry was simply the much more brilliant player on the court as the Celtics had no answer for him, and in a night where his teammates couldn’t match him for the most of the game. Steph scored 43 points in the end to go with seven three-pointers and 11 rebounds.

Following Steph Curry’s historic performance in a Game 4 victory over the Boston Celtics, Kendrick Perkins threw praises on him. Perkins, who is a Celtics fan, couldn’t help but be impressed by Steph Curry’s exceptional performance. He now has 13 Finals outings with at least 30 points, tying Kobe Bryant for the eighth-most. Curry also made history by being the 11th player in NBA history to record 30 points in at least 50 postseason games.

Stephen Curry had a terrific game for Golden State, scoring 43 points in 7-14 3-point shooting to go with 11 rebounds, but he wasn’t the only Warriors player to come up when the team needed it most, as Andrew Wiggins had a monster game of his own, scoring 17 points and grabbing 16 rebounds while Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole got on board with 32 points combined. Boston were completely focused this time, chasing Curry all over the court and contesting majority of his shots but it didn’t make a difference as he is the greatest shooter of all time.

After the game, Perkins put out a tweet that read: “This is the all time great performance in the Finals that Steph has been missing from his resume! He got the Garden as quiet as a Church on a Saturday night. Carry on…”. Steph Curry’s 43-point performance was his second-highest in his playoffs career, however its significance is overshadowed by the fact that it has now tied the series at 2-2. Curry did everything he could to help the Warriors win once more. He had scored 19 points at halftime and then scored 14 points in the third quarter, giving him a total of 33 points going into the fourth.

Stephen Curry has been the Warriors’ best player in the finals this far, as he’s averaging 34.3 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game while shooting 50.0 percent from the field and 49.0 percent from beyond the arc. His incredible ability to go on hot shooting streaks has helped his side numerous times. The Dubs will play Game 5 at the Chase Center, which will be a must-win game for them and Curry will have to be at his best once more to stop the Celtics from taking the series lead.
