NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins thrashed the Los Angeles Lakers for their disappointing performance in the ongoing season. The LA Lakers have lost 4 out of the 4 matches they have played so far. Kendrick also talked about his former teammate and NBA great LeBron James as he took a shot at him while criticizing the Hollywood based team.
Kendrick Perkins was talking on ESPN’s ‘NBA Today,’ where he quoted, “I don’t care what Pat Bev (Beverley) is talking about. Hell, I didn’t even think about and don’t care what LeBron was talking about after that game.” He added, “Here’s the point right here, OK? The Lakers are just trash at the moment!”
Kendrick also mentioned, “It’s almost like you at breakfast time and you’re going to pull you some cereal, right? And you’re thinking that it’s Lucky Charms, and you find out it’s Kibbles and Bits, and it’s straight dog food. It’s disgusting. This is what the Lakers are at the moment.” He added, “I didn’t want to come on here and be ranting, but I had no choice. Once I find out we was talking about the Lakers, this is the best way to describe ’em!”
A famous show on ESPN suggests steps for LeBron James and co. to get their campaign back on track
Los Angeles Lakers can’t get over its woes even after trying everything possible in the think tank. After losing all their games in a row, the famous sports talk show ‘First Take’ suggested some ideas for the Lakers team to get back to winning ways. One of the ideas that NBA analyst Jay Williams presented was that the Lakers should go after players like Buddy Hield and some others suitable to the team using their first-round picks.
This idea has been suggested before, but Williams took it a step further and even suggested that if they don’t go after a guy like Hield, they should make a fresh start. The Lakers are only getting weaker, and the Western conference is only getting tougher.
The Lakers are down and terrible and LeBron James looks helpless again. Citing issues at the beginning and addressing them within time can be fruitful for their campaign. Or else it would be nothing but another terrible season for the franchise. The team needs to make a collective effort, and the role of the Lakers’ management will be essential in all of this.
