This time, Kendrick Perkins is viral in the headlines, for his critical take on Ben Simmons where he called out the Nets’ star has a beautiful lady who smokes. The analyst has been more of a rapper when it comes to delivering his critical takes, especially for Ben Simmons as he straight away disrespecting him dissed him out with an all-time take which is loved by the fans around the globe. The Nets really needed him to play as they were down 0-3 against the Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown-led Boston Celtics but the mental health and injuries stopped him from suiting up while many believe he was just afraid to step in.
The Brooklyn Nets now are out of the playoffs and it’s officially a wrap for them. As the Boston Celtics won the series by 4-0 at Barclays Center and swept the Kevin Durant-led Brooklyn Nets out. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant tried their level best to get a dub but the trio of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart was just the better one if compared. Fans and even the franchise had hopes with Ben Simmons to make a return and turn around the situation for his team while helping out his mates and proving everyone wrong who doubted and disrespected him. But unfortunately, nothing like that happened as the tension from last year’s playoff is still there and alive. So Kendrick Perkins summing it all together slapped him with his take.
Ben Simmons’ saga ended but his actions are continued and so is the result as many around him and the Nets are upset with his decision of not playing Game 4 against the Boston Celtics. Kendrick Perkins is probably one of them and now we will get to see him hoop after a year as he makes his debut for the Nets during the next season but still the flow of money is on and in.
