Jaylen Brown might have just become the most undervalued stars in the league at the moment. The Boston Celtics recently added his name to the trade package they are trying to arrange to acquire one of the league’s top scorers. It is unfortunate to see the young gun being mentioned in every trade package, but the Celtics have a choice to make if its best for business.
The Celtics had a tremendous run in the playoffs reaching all the way into the finals. Unfortunately, they were beaten by Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in six games. Brown happened to be the best player on the team at that time averaging 23.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game in the playoffs. He consistency helped the Celtics grasp the last bit of hope they had.

After leads about rhe Celtics trying to acquire Kevin Durant surfaced, several experts and fans were almost shocked of how willing the team is to part ways with the All-star. Kendrick Perkins was almost confused by the matter and said, “Jaylen underappreciated Brown, who was the best player in the NBA Finals for the Boston Celtics I’ll tell you that damn much.
“Here’s the problem that I have. Every time it’s a trade and it’s something that need to be done, you can’t keep bringing up Jaylen Brown name because sooner or later those apologies, he ain’t gonna believe that no more.” A similar issue had taken place midway through the initial half of the season when Brown was coming off an injury. Jayson Tatum disclosed all idea of them splitting up.

Last year, the former President of Basketball Operations decided he needed a break away from Boston and resigned from his position. He also felt that the team was in a good place and in excellent care.
Big Perk revealed an incident that showed how much Ange respected the value of his players. He said, “Brown could have been traded for James Harden when he wanted out of the Rockets, wanted out of Houston,” Perkins said. “Me and Danny had an hour conversation about it, then he said, ‘I ain’t trading Jaylen Brown for James Harden,’ because he knew his value.”
