“He was prepped for his post-game podcast not the actual game” Kendrick Perkins throws Draymond Green under the bus after single-digit stat line

Kendrick Perkins and Draymond Green
Draymond Green was complimented for his role in the Golden State Warriors’ Game 2 victory in the NBA Finals. His outstanding defensive play was credited as one of the key reasons for their victory, and his shenanigans were also credited with rattling the Celtics. Draymond may have felt on top of the world after that performance, but he was brought crashing down following Game 3. Kendrick Perkins and Draymond Green have been at differences for quite some time and after witnessing Green’s awful performance, the former NBA star showed no mercy and slammed him in a tweet.
Disappointing performance from the former DPOY

While we’ve always believed that Green can’t be evaluated only on his numbers, his stat line of 2 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists accurately reflects how terrible he was in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. In this game, he couldn’t seem to get anything going, his offense was non-existent, his playmaking was missing and his defense was still excellent because he is a great defensive player. And, while he did have a couple moments of providing energy, it didn’t appear to achieve anything like it did in Game 2. Green had been talking a lot after Game 2, and he is always pretty outspoken on his podcast, which has recently become a hot topic in NBA circles.

Kendrick Perkins slams Draymond Green in his latest tweet

NBC Sports Boston analyst Kendrick Perkins wasn’t impressed with anything Green did for an encore following Game 2 of the series, in which the unpredictable Golden State star attempted and succeeded, in some ways, to drag down the Celtics with his usual antics.
“How can Draymond Green do all the things he did in Game 2, talk all the noise he talked coming into this game, and not do a damn thing in the game?” Perkins said on Postgame Live. “To me, he was prepared more for his postgame podcast than he was for the game.”
