Shaquille O’Neal is a Former MVP and one of the most dominant players the game has ever witnessed. He is probably also the most destructive center the league has ever seen and will ever see in the near future. He was the guy that used to destroy the paint and even break rims because of his enormous body size.

“I hate dumb a*s people; enjoy my stats and STF up.” – Kenny Smith defends his co-anchor Shaquille O’Neal on Twitter
In an ambush interview with TMZ Sports, Smith was asked about his opinion on O’Neal not winning any championships without help. O’Neal had mentioned to the two-time champ during his epic response to the troll. The LA Lakers legend called him a “big dummy.”
“No person can win without another star big dummy. How many would magic have without Kareem; how many would Kenny smith have without hakeem; wtf u talking about; I hate dumb ass people; enjoy my stats and stf up.”
O’Neal and Bryant formed one of the greatest duos in NBA history before the big man was traded to Miami in 2004 after Los Angeles lost in six games to the Pistons in the ’04 Finals. O’Neal’s and Bryant’s feud during their Lakers days is well-documented. But through the years, especially after both stars retired, O’Neal and Bryant would compliment one another on accomplishments, among other things.
Kobe will always be remembered for his unshakable will to win and his elite ability to make it happen, but there will also always likely be moments that some of his teammates look back at with some resentment as well. There was even a time when Kobe would’ve traded Shaq, as he slapped him across the face, among other things.
Smith told TMZ Sports that basketball is a team sport. It takes a whole team to win a championship. “The Jet” noted that O’Neal is right to call out the troll on Twitter. He reasoned that even without role players such as Rick Fox and Robert Horry, O’Neal and Bryant would not have won a title.
“Shaq’s 100% correct; it’s a team sport,” Smith said. “You don’t have Rick Fox; you don’t have Robert Horry; they don’t win either. It’s a bunch of guys that contribute. You know with us (Houston Rockets), championships with myself Sam Cassel, Clyde Drexler.”
Kobe Bryant’s tragic helicopter crash in January 2020, still haunts the entirety of the NBA community, as we were left numb with the news of him passing away. At the end of the day, Kobe’s legacy will shine the brightest among most of the athletes of his generation. What he accomplished transcended generations as he set the benchmark for what it means to work hard to become the best version of yourself.
However it takes two to tango, and Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greatest of all time, these two stalwarts shared a legendary time in the NBA winning and building legacies together. As Kenny Smith said “You don’t do this shi*t alone”
