The Phoenix Suns are one busy team. After making several trades over the past three weeks, including moving superstar point guard Chris Paul, the Suns have now signed Bol Bol to a 1-year fully guaranteed deal. Bol was waived by the Orlando Magic a couple of weeks ago after playing 70 games for the team during the 2022-23 season.

Bol will be looking to make an immediate impact and get consistent minutes under new head coach Frank Vogel, who now has multiple options at the center position to choose from. The Suns also signed free agents Drew Eubanks and Chimezie Metu from the Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings respectively, who will provide tough competition to Bol as backup options to Deandre Ayton.

Bol Bol is the son of the legendary Manute Bol, who was one of the tallest players to ever step foot in the NBA. An impressive player at the college level, Bol was projected to be picked 3rd overall in the 2019 NBA draft behind Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett. Unfortunately, due to a foot injury, he suffered in his freshman season at Oregon, he was picked 44th overall by the Miami Heat. His draft rights were traded to the Denver Nuggets, with whom he would go on to play three seasons between 2019 to 2022.

With the Suns completing the signing of Bol Bol, they now have arguably the most potent offense in the league with players like Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and recently acquired shooting guard Bradley Beal leading the charge.
