On September 27, 2021, another event like this included Kevin Durant, the top player from the Brooklyn Nets who is currently with the Phoenix Suns. Dave Letterman is well known for his bizarre yet lighthearted questions. And once, with an unusual question, he managed to get both Kevin Durant and the fans.

The forward was getting ready for success with his team ahead of the upcoming season. But he just became irritated during an interview over some ridiculous questions. On media day, Durant was subjected to an endless stream of absurd questions from the reporter, none other than former “Late Show” host David Letterman. Whether Durant was part of the joke or was just being patient was unclear.

It was Letterman who asked the question. He said, 

Kevin, why do people call you KD?

Durant was firstly surprised by the question, but he played accordingly. He added, 

My first name is Kevin with a K. My last name is Durant with the D.

Letterman also asked about his percentage on the court hilariously giving the option of 90, 95, 100, 110 where Durant replied 110.

The media room laughed heartily at the response, and Kevin Durant went on with his duties. Kevin Durant goes by several nicknames, including KD. In addition to posing as a reporter covering the NBA, Letterman also posed some other ridiculous questions.
