Kevin Durant fires back again at fans who claim he ruined NBA by joining Warriors

Kevin Durant fires back again at fans who claim he ruined NBA by joining Warriors

Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant has been a regular name in the NBA headlines since he requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets organization. He also gave an ultimatum to the organization in a meeting with owner Joe Tsai in London of either riding with him or the Head Coach Steve Nash and General Manager Sean Marks. The Nets haven’t made any decision publically yet but are favoring the coaching staff and management of the team as they are testing Kevin Durant in the market but so far haven’t been able to get any satisfying deal. With all of these things happening around and the superstars’ future being uncertain in the league. He still has got time to clap back and call out the fans who are still hating on him for the basketball decisions made by him in the past, particularly joining the Golden State Warriors one.

Kevin Durant isn’t the one to let people talk about him especially on the internet as he loves Twitter. Since there he can exchange words and takes with his fans and haters who keep on calling him out. His move to join hands with the Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors after the OKC Thunder got wiped off by them still has a lot of fans hating on him and some of that is understandable. They have also nicked Kevin Durant as “unloyal” and “snake” to leave his guys behind and become a bus rider instead of a driver. As they believe the road was too easy for him and he got carried across to win two NBA championships and Final MVPs.

With him being back in the market again as he is trying to part ways with the Brooklyn Nets who just gave him a max extension and need him the most right now. The fans are back with their “unloyal and snake” takes for Kevin Durant. As he is again hoping around to get an easy road. So the fans brought all their GSW takes targeting KD back and they got a reply. Obviously, the greatest scorer in league history is expected to reply back to fan-based theories and takes.

A fan retweeted to a tweet talking about the next NBA CBA being nasty and a lockout coming in. He blamed Kevin Durant for it and wrote: “Without a doubt  @KDTrey5 this yo legacy dawg. Left the game in a worse shape than you found it smh” Replying to it the Nets’ star who is again on the wheels said: “I #ruinedthegame?” Since it was a question replying to it a fan gave a detailed explanation and tweeted: “From a fan perspective it was lame AF when u joined Steph after choking. Then u followed Kyrie & got swept.  Now the trade demand, lame. Ur a great talent, but ur legacy is not as an all time great for the game.”

The explanation was pretty disrespectful but Kevin Durant stayed humble as he replying to it wrote: “And that’s fine. Enjoy that perspective my man. Not mad at u for it.” Further, KD also sarcastically dodged one of his comparisons with Michael Jordan and took it in a positive manner which it wasn’t. Talking about all such takes on general by the fans, the seven-footer wrote: “Aye I be wanting people on twitter to realize that they just can’t stand to see me do well in life lol.  But to acknowledge that would make them haters so they won’t ever admit but it’s still fun trying ti get them to accept it”

Kevin Durant called out his haters who aren’t even admitting to be a hater and playing their role perfectly in the corner. These were some of the many exchanges he has had and will have about his basketball decisions. As once again he is in the market with many contenders being interested and listed by him. The Boston Celtics who wiped him off and completely swept him out in the playoffs are also his preferred destination (frontrunners to acquire him too). So the story can repeat itself once again but this time he’s under a contract and the Nets will make sure they get the most in return for his exchange.
