“Keep making this shit up” Kevin Durant gets brutally honest on the latest trade rumors

Kevin Durant

The rumors of trading Kevin Durant have been going around for a long time. But the Brooklyn nets are yet to find a new home for Kevin and his fellow teammate, Kyrie. Every side, in pursuit of creating a solid team, is trying to acquire the best fit for their team, and the Nets also have the same strategy. Recently, Kevin was seen having a ’war’ on Twitter with New York York-based reporter Tommy Beer.

The reporter and the NBA star had a series of tweets that talked about Kevin’s trading rumors before Tommy started poking in Kevin’s face asking him if he wanted to open up about any story, then he was available to talk. He quotes, “hey bud, its been a min since we last talked so I just wanted to let you know I’m available to chat if there’s any rumors you want to deny or anything you want to get off your chest.”

Kevin, who looked careless enough, got back by tweeting that the reporter can keep making up stories as he always does, and the lies will get him where he wants to be. He quotes, “Keep making up shit like y’all always do; the lies will get u where u want to be, my man.” The Brooklyn Nets are eager to trade Kevin Durant even though he has a couple of years left in his contract, and that might be why the Nets management is taking time to find the best trade for him.

With the 2022-2023 season round the corner, every team is trying to create a champion team and look to dominate this season. The same is the case with Brooklyn Nets. The owner of the group, Joe Tsai, has decided to stick with the management to determine what’s best for the team; they could continue to look to trade Kevin Durant.

Even if they fail to do so, it could add to their misery and have serious team combination problems. And then, these problems could lessen the growth and development of the team. The Nets have successfully made some strong offseason trading, but having a megastar will only benefit the team.
