Kevin Durant’s Twitter hobby found him in the middle of an internet roast session. A single tweet from the Phoenix Suns forward seemed to have provoked a famous comedian, Ryan Davis, to make a roast video.
Durant’s Twitter feud with comedian Davis started on Wednesday when he was engaging with fans on the social media platform. He replied to a tweet that claimed offense was the key to winning championships, expressing his disagreement. The tweet went viral and caught the attention of Davis, who decided to join the conversation and mock Durant. Durant did not hold back and fired back at Davis with some insults of his own.
The tweet that sparked the whole drama was a simple statement from the Suns’ star, “Offense wins u championships brother,” Davis saw the tweet on Instagram and commented that Durant “doesn’t know what wins championships.” Durant responded by calling Davis a “trash a– comedian.” That prompted Davis to post a lengthy video on Instagram, where he spent more than five minutes roasting Durant for his appearance, his career choices, and his social media habits.
