In a recent interview, NBA legend Kevin Garnett shared his thoughts on the comparisons between Damian Lillard and Jrue Holiday. The conversation came up due to Damian Lillard’s recent trade to the Milwaukee Bucks in a significant three-team deal.

Garnett suggested that the Bucks have a much better and enhanced roster for the upcoming NBA season. With Giannis Antetokounmpo paired with Dame, the Milwaukee Bucks are easily one of the strongest contenders in the Eastern Conference.

Garnett elaborated that he would prioritize Lillard’s offensive skills over Jrue Holiday’s defensive abilities, citing the presence of Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez on the Milwaukee Bucks’ roster. He pointed out that Lillard’s offensive prowess is well-known, and with players like Giannis and Lopez, who possess high basketball IQ, it makes sense to lean towards offensive firepower.

Garnett further explained that players like Brook Lopez excel in communication on the court, with strong abilities in defensive rotations. Alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo, they are known for their maturity and effectiveness on the defensive end. He emphasized that while Damian Lillard’s defensive skills might not be as prominent, the key on the court is about making sacrifices for the team’s benefit and giving it your all.

Kevin believes in team synchronization and with each of these players making small sacrifices in the game to supplement the other, the Bucks can end up with an impressive defense with just the three on the roster.
