LaVar Ball has set pretty high standard for all his sons and for himself. Whether it is his sons playing against the modern-day greats or he himself wanting to lock horns against Michael Jordan, the 54-year-old has no regard whatsoever while making bigger-than-life claims. But when he appeared on Kevin Hart’s Cold as Balls, the Hollywood star was not letting him go easy.

Hart known to a hilarious trash-talker, opened up his brooks to remind LaVar Ball about the high standard he has set for himself. The former went onto claim that LaVar should forget about beating Michael Jordan and he himself will be a stern competition for LaMelo’s father.

Now to those who are not aware, when LaVar Ball appears on Kevin Hart’s show Cold as Balls, hilarity ensues. Hart is off the mark saying “We didn’t get the son? I told you I wanted the son!”. An immediate jab to the 54-year-old.

The two banter back and forth, the exchange is simply hilarious. If there is anyone who can rival Kevin Hart’s comedic timing, it is Lavar’s hysterics! In one instance, Kevin calls out Lavar for making up stories about his basketball prowess and says, “We got no records!” 

That being said, LaVar Ball has to be applauded for raising two of the modern-day greats. Given that LaMelo ball is surely grabbing more attention that the declining Lonzo Ball, LaVar would surely be awaiting his younger son’s value in the coming seasons. Moreover, LaMelo Ball has already risen to All-Star level and with the 2022-23 season coming up, all eyes will be on how he is able to guide the Charlotte Hornets past their toughest regular seasons challenge, in order to contest in the playoffs.
