The long ongoing legal feud between NBA star Kevin Porter Jr. and his girlfriend Kysre Gondrezick has taken a shocking turn. Originally, Gondrezick had accused Porter Jr. of violently beating her and forcefully putting pressure on her neck. Her allegations had caused the Houston Rockets to suspend him from the team and prevent him from using the team’s facilities.

However, in her latest statement, Gondrezick has contradicted everything she ever said during the case. She has said that Porter never assaulted her and that all the allegations against Porter Jr. were an absolute lie. She added that there were no injuries to support the incident and that it didn’t happen to her at all. What has caused her to change her statements is unknown.

Her exact words were, “He didn’t hit me. He never balled his fists up and hit me. And he definitely didn’t punch me in the face numerous times. That is a lie. I don’t have any injuries to support that.”

Porter Jr. has released no statements in response to these comments yet. His next court hearing is set to be on November 27. It remains unclear how Gondrezick’s latest comments will affect the way the case progresses. All his fans can do is wait and see what happens.

Kevin Porter Jr.’s assault case and how it will affect his career

This isn’t the first time Kevin Porter Jr. has been accused of violence off the court. In 2022, he threw an object at assistant court John Lucas during a locker room argument causing him to be suspended for a game.

This case however is much more serious. The Houston Rockets have apparently traded him to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder also want nothing to do with him and will apparently waive him immediately after the trade is complete.

Porter Jr’s career has taken a turn he would never have expected. Just a few years ago he was a bright rising star and now no team wants to be mentioned in the same sentence as him. It remains to be seen what Porter does next and whether or not he is able to recover from this enormous setback.
