Keyshawn Johnson STRONGLY believes Ja Morant should learn ethics from LeBron James and Kevin Durant
Keyshawn Johnson feels LeBron James and Kevin Durant have laid out the blueprint for managing on court and off court business in the NBA and Ja Morant needs to follow it
Ja Morant
Ja Morant is in the midst of a lot of trouble and it seems like the entire league media has some sort of advice for him. “The people in his circle… They gotta see that and say nah, that’s not how we roll,” said Keyshawn Johnson on ESPN. Keyshawn believes that Ja Morant has to sort out his inner circle and roam around with people who improve him and tell him what is right. “LeBron James and Kevin Durant gave him the blueprint on how to play on the court, and how to handle business off it,” added Johnson.
KD and Lebron are known for keeping their inner circle very tight and have never gotten into scandals that could lead to suspension from the league. LeBron is only seen partying with people inside his Klutch Sports circle while KD never posts about his parties on social media at all. In terms of the blueprint, it truly is right there for Ja Morant. If he wants to be an NBA star he needs to understand where the game starts and where the parties end.
“If you can’t follow that lead, and understand who those guys are and where their careers are now, you don’t want it,” Johnson went on. He feels that the most elite players in the NBA are the ones who handle their business the best on and off the court and Ja is not there yet. Morant will need to take some time off and figure out where he is in his career right now. The NBA world is hoping the star can bounce back from this setback and entertain them with his dunks.

The police have started investigations regarding Ja Morant
Ja Morant might be away from the NBA court but he is right in the middle of the limelight. After his incident in Denver, Colorado, the police are investigating the legality of his possession of the gun. Colorado does allow possession of firearms but exceptions include being under the influence of alcohol. Ja was partying and visibly under the influence which does not make his case any better.
Morant has issued an apology and has said he is fully responsible for his actions. The 23-year-old star said he is going to take some time off to sort out his life and come back with a better mindset. The Memphis Grizzlies will sorely miss the presence of Ja Morant as they most recently blew a 15-point 4th quarter lead to the Los Angeles Clippers without Ja.
Morant is certainly in an uncomfortable situation in terms of who to listen to. On one side Ja wants to roll with the people he does right now but everyone is advising him against that. As Keyshawn Johnson said, Ja is with people who are yes-men and do not question what he does as he pays for them. Morant needs to mature and sort out his inner circles like LeBron and KD to ensure his stardom in the league. At the moment Ja’s reputation is certainly the lowest it has ever been and it will take substantial effort to fix this.
