Kobe Bryant was a specimen the NBA desperately needed to see. There is nobody that can be compared to him as his mindset and drive were on a different path that the usual. The Black Mamba became one of the greatest players of all time not only because of his Jordan-esque similarities but also for his work outside the court.
The Los Angeles Lakers saw some of their brightest days with the Mamba. He helped them win five championship while playing alongside other all-time greats like Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard. The former MVP was an elite scorer of the ball and had arguably the best IQ in the league. He averaged 25 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game through his career.

Kobe Bryant was a major sensation coming out of high school. There were very few child athletes who were as good as the former All-American prospect. At the age of 17, Bean was a top player in all of United States. His personal life never worked up this much success. He had a small fling with singer Brandy Norwood whom he took to prom in high-school.
Bryant and Norwood seemed extremely close with each other and rumors began to spark on a potential romance in the making. Joe Bryant shut down all hopes saying, “they are just friends.” Soon after rhe rumors were shut down, Norwood was interviewed on television where she admitted she wanted to marry Shaquille O’Neal and a few other notable names, but Kobe was not mentioned.

In 1999, Kobe Bryant met the love of his life on a music video set. They quickly developed strong feelings for each other and got engaged six months after meeting. The Bryant family was never supportive of the union but they continued to fight. Their 19-year marriage brought them four beautiful daughters Gianna, Bianka, Natalie and Capri.
Unfortunately, the NBA legend lost his life in a helicopter over two years ago. His death was very untimely which shook the world. Along with him, his daughter Gianna had also met her demise. His family still continues to fight for his legacy to keep it alive.
