In an old interview, Iguodala narrated the incident and said, “So he (Kobe) came to our locker room, and he was like “where’s Dre?” And I was on the court working out, getting ready for the game. So he (Kobe) told Louis Williams: “tell Dre 50 tonight. So six minutes to go in the fourth quarter, uh he (Kobe) had 49 (points)”
