Lakers fans are known to be notorious Twitter trolls and Jeanie Buss just exposed one. Twitter user @BronGotGame tweeted: “I’m in tears dawg Jeanie Buss replied to my dm’s and I was just thanking her & Pelinka for the trades that went down, be a thankful lady.” They posted a screenshot of a dm which was cropped showing him thanking her. However, the image also showed Buss telling him to stop sending hate messages and ‘hacking’ her.
Jeanie Buss replied with a screenshot of older messages proving he sent hate. “Here is an example of the harassing messages. As I’ve said on this platform before, everyone is entitled to their opinion so I am not arguing about that. It’s just that I don’t want my DM’s to be full of your pretend GM BS trade suggestions that’s all,” tweeted Jeanie Buss. The image she attached showed the dm saying, “I hope you know you’re the worst owner in sports,” among other stuff.
Impatient fans tend to get agitated and cross the line and this is exactly what happened to Jeanie Buss. The Lakers did complete a set of good trades after the troll sent that message. However, Twitter will never be a safe place for such celebrities as the trolls always lurk around. Jeanie Buss will have to stay awake for the rest of the season in case the Lakers miss the playoffs.

Jeanie Buss has done right by Lakers fans this deadline
The Los Angeles Lakers are in a tough spot this season as the team needs wins and needs them quickly. Rob Pelinka and Jeanie Buss first got rid of Russell Westbrook which prompted a sigh of relief. Lakers fans have wanted to see him leave for a while now and they made it happen. The Lakers got young guards and competent big men in return.
With Anthony Davis being susceptible to re-injury, they have got replacements. LeBron also has a better point guard as of right now in D’Angelo Russell to score and distribute. Russell is shooting a career-high 3PT percentage this season at 39% which is more than most Lakers shooters. Buss and Pelinka also secured Rui Hachimura earlier in this trade window.
Whether or not the Lakers make the playoffs, the owners have made some moves to salvage the season. The owners might probably be at fault for building such a dysfunctional roster. Ever since Russell Westbrook joined it has been a rocky road for Los Angeles. LeBron is the only one carrying this team right now and he cannot do it for longer. The Lakers fans will be hoping that Jeanie Buss has done enough to get them into the playoffs.
