Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most dominant forces on the planet right now. When he gets on the court, his size and speed alone makes him one of the toughest players out here. He is fantastic on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. Recently Antetokounmpo displayed this prowess with a block on Christian Wood when the Bucks played the Lakers.

Antetokounmpo later posted a photo of the block on his Instagram, and even tagged Wood in the post. The post clearly shows Antetokounmpo rejecting Wood’s attempt for a dunk. It appears Wood has taken the post to heart. He said that the post has led him to mark the date when the Bucks will be facing the Lakers next on his calendar.

When he saw the post, Wood commented, “I love it I’ll see him during the season just circled the game on my calendar.”

It appears Wood is using the disrespect as fuel for his fire. It remains to be seen next time how Wood extracts his revenge, if he is able to extract it all. Antetokounmpo will definitely be on the lookout for Wood the next time he faces the Lakers. Their next matchup should be interesting to say the very least.

Antetokounmpo’s preseason has been going fantastic. The reason behind this is that he is finally sharing a court with his new star teammate – Damian Lillard. The Bucks have won 2 of their 3 pre-season games.

According to Antetokounmpo, Lillard’s presence has greatly opened the court for him, making scoring easier. In his own words, “I’ll be very honest, I’ve never been this open.”

The chemistry between the pair has already been electric and it’s clear that the duo have put the NBA on notice. It remains to be seen how NBA teams prepare the defenses to stop the two. It will certainly be an uphill task for NBA coaches to figure out a way to slow down the Bucks offense this season.
