Over time, since LeBron James joined the Los Angeles Lakers, his name and fame has shot to another level from already a superstardom status. After breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record, the basketball star has been out with a lingering foot injury. He has been going through his rehab while his team has been trying to keep the ship from sinking while he is out. While he has time to rehab and relax, he took out some time to attend Super Bowl 2023. James was accompanied by his wife, Savannah James, in the stands.
The power couple had black sunglasses on and sat together. James wore a black shirt, rocked a pair of Nike sneakers and looked outstanding in his outfit. Savannah, on the other hand, wore a brown shirt for the occasion. The 19x All-Star is one of the most famous athletes in the world and continues to remain so.
LeBron James might be enjoying his time off. However, if he remains out of the roster with his injury for a prolonged period, it is given that the Lakers would suffer. He controls the pace of the game and is excellent at making plays for the players around him, which is unique about him. Breaking the all-time scoring record is nothing short of a miracle for a pass-fist player. That demonstrates not just his scoring versatility but also his longevity across two decades. He’ll be in the league for a couple more years and will almost certainly finish with numbers that will be difficult to overcome.

LeBron James’ foot injury and Lakers’ uncertain future in the 2023 season
The Lakers are already in big trouble this season due to Anthony Davis’ foot injury earlier this season and a string of poor performances. At one point during the season, the team stood 2-9. But, when Davis returned from his lengthy absence, he looked like the MVP-caliber player everyone expects him to be. However, now, the length of the four-time NBA champion’s absence is unknown.
On his podcast “#ThisLeague Uncut,” Chris Haynes told Mark Stein that James had unbearable pain in his legs. “I was told LeBron was severely struggling with that foot injury he has [Tuesday night vs. the Thunder],” Haynes said. “It gets to points where it just gets unbearable and he plays through it… The way it’s explained to me is that might be something that lingers all season long, but it reached the dire point.”
