The Lakers have a lot of decisions to make this offseason, as they have several free agents and potential trade targets to consider, some of whom are restricted and have Bird rights that allow the team to go over the cap to re-sign them.

The Lakers have four restricted free agents: Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, D’Angelo Russell, and Mo Bamba. They also have two non-guaranteed contracts: Malik Beasley and Lonnie Walker.

Reaves was a breakout star for the Lakers last season, as he emerged as a reliable starter and a versatile defender. Hachimura was a midseason acquisition who provided scoring and rebounding at the power forward position. Russell was a former Laker who returned in a blockbuster trade with Russell Westbrook. Bamba was another trade deadline addition who gave the team some rim protection and athleticism.

The Lakers have a lot of work to do this offseason if they want to keep their core together and add some pieces that can help them contend for a title next season.
