Scottie Pippen is one of the most dynamic players the league has seen. Stunning on both ends of the floor, Pippen carved out his name in the basketball history books after winning 6 championships with the Chicago Bulls. As expected with athletes, his son, Scottie Pippen Jr, also followed his dad’s footsteps. At one point he even made it to the NBA but was waived after that.

Many suggest that the reason could be because of Pippen Jr.’s mother – Larsa Pippen. Scottie Pippen and Larsa have been divorced for a while, however, Larsa is still majorly connected to her son. Larsa is also currently dating Michael Jordan‘s eldest son – Marcus. The relationship has put distance between Marcus and his father, and Jordan also reportedly dislikes Larsa Pippen.

Rap star Cam’ron has speculated that this is the reason Pippen Jr. has been waived from the Los Angeles Lakers, who had previously signed him.

Cam’ron suggested that Michael Jordan‘s animosity towards Larsa might have influenced the Lakers’ decision to release Pippen Jr.

If true, it could mean that Pippen Jr’s mother is the reason behind his young career taking a nosedive.

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were touted as one of the best duos in NBA history. The two won six championships together and were the face of one of the greatest dynasties in league history. Their relationship extended off the court as well.

As a result, when Jordan found out that his son was dating his best friend’s ex-wife, things were far from okay. There have been reports suggesting that Jordan has distanced himself from his son in recent years.

Larsa Pippen is 18 years older than Marcus Jordan. She’s 50 and he’s 32. There have been no official statements from any of the parties and the underlying dynamic of their relationship remains unclear.
