Larsa Pippen seems to have caught the buzz in and around the NBA world once again with her most recent move of going on a date with Michael Jordan’s son. While many believe Scottie Pippen and Larsa were initially the lovebirds, there relationship has often come under the radar for all the wrong reasons.
The Chicago Bulls legend and Larsa Pippen officially parted ways in December 2021, the couple had already gone onto their separate ways years before. While speaking about the same in an episode of the ‘Real Housewives of Miami’ that came months before the actual split of the couple, she revealed the insights of her ‘toxic’ relation with Michael Jordan’s partner.
Did Larsa Pippen suffer enough alongside Scottie Pippen?
To bring everyone on the same page, as per reports on the internet, Larsa Pippen reportedly called the police and claimed that her husband (Scottie) was being aggressive. The dispatched force then inquired about the abuse and whether it was verbal or physical. That’s when the Hall of Famer jumped in on the conversation and said that it is verbal. Larsa then told the police not to come. However, she made the same call three days later, claiming that her husband had gotten crazy again.
“I was traumatized. If he doesn’t get his way, he punishes me, he’s like The Punisher,” Larsa exclaimed. She further said that Scottie was, “pushing all the buttons to let me know that he’s still in charge and because I’m doing whatever makes me happy.” That being said, Scottie’s lawyer, Roberta Stanley, addressed in a statement that the 911 call records. She pointed out that Larsa hadn’t accused Scottie of any kind of physical violence and requested people to respect the couple’s privacy during the time.
How hard it was to witness Scottie and Larsa initially deciding to part ways eight years after the birth of their youngest son. Although the couple did give it a try, but it only lasted for two more years. The only difference being that this time around it was Larsa Pippen who had filed for divorce.
