Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan broke up after dating for the past two years. The couple had a controversial relationship, to say the least. The couple split up for the 2nd time a few days ago. But this time, the partition seems official as Pippen publicly spoke about the breakup for the first time.

Larsa Pippen was a guest on Amy and T.J. Podcast, where she confirmed her separation from Marcus Jordan. The Real Housewives star realized that Jordan was not the right man for her. The star revealed spending time apart from Jordan gave her clarity about the decision she made. This is what Pippen said: 

It just kinda gave me clarity. When I was alone. I think when you're alone you either miss the person or realize maybe you're not my guy and I feel like that made me realize that I don't think he's [Jordan] my guy.

To get things clear, the host asked Pippen to confirm the status of the relationship. She replied, saying she was ‘single and ready to mingle.’ However, the TV personality added that it was a joke and she was not ready to mingle just yet. Further, Pippen also revealed that the age factor was not a factor in her decision to split with Jordan. The couple’s different paths in life became the major reason.

Pippen also revealed that her current focus remains on her kids, and her businesses. Furthermore, Pippen mentioned that she appreciated her time with Marcus Jordan. The star also referred to Jordan as a ‘great guy’ and wanted him to be happy despite them not being together anymore.

Larsa Pippen was in hot water two years ago after her relationship with Marcus Jordan was confirmed. Michael Jordan‘s son dating Scotty Pippen‘s ex-wife did not sit well with NBA fans. Their 16-year age gap also received a ton of backlash from the netizens.

On the Amy and T.J. Podcast, Pippen was asked about discussing her breakup on the Real Housewives Show. The 49-year-old said that the show’s producers asked the stars to reveal every detail about such events. However, Pippen did not like revealing too much about her life. And her not being vocal about relationships has resulted in people portraying her as the villain. This is what she said: 

I don't like when people break up and they just start bashing each other to look good. I feel like I've looked like the villain when my breakups with certain people in the past because I don't really defend myself.

The TV star also strongly denied the rumors of knowing Marcus when Scotty Pippen played with Michael Jordan. Larsa met Jordan in 2019, years after her split with the Chicago Bulls star. She also revealed that she had a friendship with Marcus for three years before they started dating. She also said that she still sees the two as friends even after their breakup.
