WATCH: “Call the fking foul bch…” LEAKED audio reveals LeBron James’ NSFW message to referee
LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers teammates are doing everything to win and move up the playoff ladder.
LeBron James shouts at referee
LeBron James draws a lot of fouls during games. It happens to be an after-effect whenever he drives to the basket. Those touch fouls provide additional scoring opportunities and pressure opposing players to guard better. When one such situation did not result in a foul call, James was livid and expressed his frustrations through some NSFW words at the referee.
During the game against the Washington Wizards, LeBron James received the inbound pass and drove to the rim. On the way to the rim, Wizards star Kyle Kuzma tried to swat the ball away. Although James scored the layup, he was frustrated that the referee did not call the touch foul. In the leaked video, James is allegedly heard shouting at the referee.
Call the f*cking foul, b*tch a** n****.LeBron James via Wizards vs. Lakers game
James did not get the foul and had to continue with the game. However, it shows his drive to get an upper hand against the opposition. Even though the dynamics of the game were intact, the Los Angeles Lakers did receive a lot of foul calls. It is unclear if this particular rant had any effect on the calls later on. However, it does go to show the importance of such tactics.
The opposition is cornered when their best players are in foul trouble. In this case, the Washington Wizards had twice the number of fouls as the Lakers, forcing some of them off the court. It seems LeBron James and the Lakers intelligently drew fouls and cornered opponents.
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers finding ways to win
After consistently being near or outside the play in spots, the Los Angeles Lakers are slowly moving up the ladder. Having the mind of LeBron James at their disposal has helped the Lakers win games even while he has rested. A big part of that is finding intelligent ways to win. Consequently, the play of several players has also taken a big step forward.
The Lakers showed a bit of that intelligence in today’s game. In the 2nd of their back-to-back games, James and his teammates had to fight fatigue to get to the win. In that process, James and his teammates exploited foul calls and outrebounded the Wizards to help them get the 125-120 win.
The win completes an impressive 5-1 road series as they return home to face three playoff teams. These wins will eventually come in handy when the playoff seedings are confirmed. LeBron James wants all the foul calls to help them win games to get a better seeding.
