Kevin Garnett during the most recent episode of YouTube’s ALL THE SMOKE, openly talked about LeBron James and his team’s ambitions for a championship. Alongside Paul Pierce, the former MVP from 2004 confidently made a daring statement, that sent shockwaves throughout the basketball world.

The LA Lakers had decided against strengthening their ranks to provide extra firepower for LeBron James and only added veteran point guard, Spencer Dinwiddie through the buyout market. A decision the Boston Celtics legend, Kevin Garnett, believes would hurt the Lakers’ chances to compete with other teams.

During the latest episode of “KG Certified,” Garnett explicitly criticized the belief that the Lakers are contenders with their current roster calling them ‘f***ing delusional.’

Adding a dash of intrigue, the former MVP and Boston Celtics icon highlighted the franchise’s missed opportunity to make the most of what could potentially be LeBron James’ last few years at the peak of his game.

He doesn’t have much time. Bron probably has what, two or three more years?

Kevin Garnett’s warning is clear: James’ eventual decline is inevitable, especially as he surpasses the age when most players retire. Throughout the season, James has hinted at wanting changes in LA, but with the trade deadline passed, he must wait for potential offseason moves to strengthen the Lakers.

After the game, James reached out and sent a message of support to him.

In a message on X (formerly called Twitter) he sent his wishes and urged his fans to send their prayers. The tweet below:

LeBron James was just one of the many celebrities present in the arena. The others included Taylor Swift, Draymond Green, Paul Rudd, Adele and her boyfriend, Rich Paul, Blake Lively, and Ice Spice. Billionaire Elon Musk was also spotted among the crowd.
