LeBron James’ agent Rich Paul partners with NB to launch new sportswear brand Klutch Athletics
Rich Paul and New balance have collaborated to launch an extension brand called Klutch Athletics that would solely focus on young generation of athletes.
Adele and Rich Paul
Rich Paul has been in the public picture a lot recently, he attended Grammy Awards with his girlfriend Adele when she raised her 16th trophy. He was present at his friend’s record-breaking night in Los Angeles when LeBron James broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record. He also was one of the VIPs in the Super Bowl LVII held in Glendale, Arizona. To add to his resume, his company Klutch Sports Group recently unveiled a new line of sportswear in extension to New balance.
Paul unveiled Klutch Athletics, a new extension of his ongoing partnership with New Balance. Although Klutch Athletics has been developed in partnership with New Balance, he says it’s not a traditional collaboration. “This is a sportswear brand, a real sportswear brand,” Paul told Complex Sports over Zoom earlier this month. “It’s not a collaboration. It’s a real sportswear brand that’s focusing on training with functionality and style,” said Paul.
Paul, who also is the agent for LeBron said that the sports line also aims to focus on the young upcoming athletes of the next generation. His new sports clothing line is for every sport. “We are going to really focus on the next generation’s athletes, really listen to the next-generation athlete, and to what they feel like they want to be present in as it pertains to their approach to whatever sport they play,” Paul added.

Rich Paul and New Balance VP say Klutch Athletics is completely sports-centric
According to Paul, the chief marketing officer and senior VP of New Balance said that the company is all set to leave its mark in the market. Taking a dig at the rivals, they added that the old sports companies have lost focus on making products that make them totally sports-centric. “I think the training category and brands at large have really lost focus on the sports-centric consumer,” Davis said. Moreover, according to the statement by the company, the high-quality combination of style and performance would give Klutch Athletics an upper hand in the market.
The brand which caters to men, women, and kids’ clothing in different sizes is all set to be out on April end week. The price will range from $40 to $120 and the sports brand is inspired by New Balance’s signature color. “There’s multiple pieces that can interact and layer with one another depending on the sport, depending on the temperature, and depending on the consumer’s stylistic preference,” Davis says. “Every piece in the collection is designed to integrate with another piece, whether it be from a functional or aesthetic standpoint. Integrated from a layering perspective and the product itself was specifically designed to be layered with one another,” Paul said.
