LeBron James received criticism after using the incorrect lyrics in a well-known song by the late rapper Pop Smoke. One thing is to sing a song’s incorrect lyrics; another is to post about it. In 2020, a video of LeBron singing along to Pop Smoke’s “For The Night” appeared on social media. Normally, nobody would really give a second thought because athletes are free to behave whatever they choose, but in this case, he absolutely butchered the words before posting them on his social media. Funny thing is, LeBron undoubtedly remembers every detail of every game he has ever played, but he can’t quote one of the songs on his playlists.
LeBron James enjoys rap music, and he can frequently be seen vibing along to new songs by artists he like. The Lakers star joined a select group of sportsmen who earn that amount of money when he became the first active NBA player to acquire a net worth of $1 billion earlier this year. The fact that LeBron is one of only three sportsmen to achieve the billion dollar benchmark is evidence of their dedication both during and outside of their playing careers. He continues to perform songs and share them on social media in spite of this, and once it definitely backfired.

LeBron James’ 19th NBA season came to an end when the Los Angeles Lakers finished 33-49 and failed to qualify for the Play-In round. “The King” also lost the opportunity to win the scoring championship since he didn’t play enough games to have his 30.3 points per game even recognized. James spent four seasons with the LA Lakers, winning one title, losing twice in the first round, and missing two NBA Playoffs. Again, LeBron has had a terrific season in each of his individual seasons. The Lakers star is currently preparing for a significant season of team recovery.
