All-time great, Lebron James put on the coaching hat at the NBA Peach Jam event, where his superstar son Bryce James turned some heads. It seemed as if the 2020 winning duo had come back as veterans to help as coach and assistant coach. Rajon Rondo was seen on the sidelines hyping the team up.
Bryce James is playing from ‘Strive for Greatness’ at the NBA’s Peach Jam in Augusta, GA. Peach Jam is the championship tournament for the Nika EYBL spring and summer leagues. Bryce’s team was 10 points down in the first half of the game against the New Heights Lightning. But as soon as James ‘the coach’ took up the sidelines, the team was hyped up and sent the game to overtime, which they eventually won.
NBA fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing, two greats of the NBA coaching kids at the Jam was surely something they wouldn’t see every day. Although James went to see some games, it was never as a Coach, but always as a spectator, hyping his kids up at every opportunity.
LeBron James can make a great coach
James was seen giving the kids some tactics just as halftime ended and their team was behind by 10 points. Twitter users were impressed with the coaching abilities of Coach LeBron and had nothing but praise for him as he led the team to victory.
Lebron, even donning the attire that coaches generally wear, was taking his job pretty seriously. With the offseason underway, he sure made good use of his time at the Peach Jam. This is what Basketball is all about; giving back to the community whenever you can, and Lebron has all the skills and resources to do so, and he keeps on giving back whatever he has earned.
Standing 6’6″ tall, Bryce looks like a great prospect. He is much lankier than his elder brother and has made sure that he is seen in the Peach Jam, as he has had some great performances since the tournament started. He is reportedly all set to play his junior year of High school basketball at Campbell Hall leaving Sierra Canyon behind. Campbell Hall is a traditional prep hoops powerhouse. We will be on the lookout for more such LeCoach moments as Bryce continues to shine in his upcoming years.
