LeBron James and the LA Lakers continued their recent redemption with an impressive victory over the impressive Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks had been in stellar form of late but ended up losing the plot against a physically dominant Lakers side intent on continuing their winning form.
The result was a 127-110 victory for LeBron James and company. Anthony Davis starred in the match, returning with 28 points and 12 rebounds. D’Angelo Russell top-scored for his team with 29 points while James himself contributed with 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Austin Reaves started as a guard and rounded up a great day for the LA Lakers starters, with 14 points and 7 assists. Regardless, LeBron’s son, Bronny James, was also in action on the same day.
Bronny played in USC Trojans’ road game against Arizona, and his father was in a hurry to bring an end to the post-match conference. The obvious reason was that James instead wanted to watch his son play:
I have to go catch my son’s game real quick. He’s doing well. Watching college basketball alone is tough, and then you add my son in there, it’s even … Yeah, yeah. It’s hard to watch. I’m a dad, but I also love the game of basketball, and college basketball is just … like 10 people in the paint at the same time. It’s very hard at times to watch.
This was followed by a hilarious conference which saw James pay more attention to Bronny’s game than the questions the reporters asked. Fans on social media found LeBron’s antics utterly hilarious. Most of them chose to troll the 39-year-old, with one even claiming that LeBron was simply acting the way he was, for attention.
LA Lakers continue road to redemption with win over Dallas Mavericks
LeBron James’ post-match conference brought forth a range of responses on Twitter. Most fans, as can be expected, chose to troll the Lakers’ superstar, and claimed that he could easily have answered the questions.

People claimed that LeBron was only pretending to be locked into his son’s games, and accused him of looking for attention. That is, of course, a criticism that LeBron has had to deal with almost throughout his career.
There is little doubt that LeBron will be much happier than he has been in recent weeks. The Lakers were seemingly back to their best after the return of their injured stars and produced a rampant overall display against the Mavericks. They will now be looking to continue their rise, and hopefully enter the Playoff spots as soon as possible.
