Tons of cocaine marked with a fraudulent emblem related to the basketball superstar of the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James have been sent to Europe by high-level drug criminals. James’ number on the basketball court is 23, and police in Greece have captured five shipments of cocaine totaling tens of millions of Euros that are all marked with that number. According to sources in Greece, the cocaine packaging features the NBA letters as a hypothetical mention to the National Basketball Association, while the powder blocks actually have the emblem.
Even though LeBron James had just had an MVP-caliber season, the LA Lakers experienced a problematic season. King James and the Lakers’ management apparently had “constructive” talks about his contract extension last week, according to reports. This summer, the four-time champion is available for a two-year contract, and much mystery surrounds his decision to sign it. A number of athletes, including Montrezl Harrell and former NBA champion Iman Shumpert, are being prosecuted on felony drug possession charges and LeBron may have been one of the names to appear on this list, unfortunately.
Who is Lebron James and why is he into drugs?
LeBron James, a candidate for the title of greatest NBA player of all time, seems to be a unique example of a player who has continued to play at a high level for over 20 years. He has earned four MVP awards, four NBA championships, and four Finals MVP awards. He has averaged at least 25 points in all except one season, which was 2003–04, when he was named Rookie of the Year. James, a two-time gold medalist with Team USA at the Olympics, has an NBA scoring average of 25 points or more for 17 straight seasons. He has also a $1 billion lifetime endorsement with Nike which made him a billionaire athlete.
James, an NBA record-tying three-time All-Star MVP and the All-Star Game’s all-time top scorer, was given a starting spot in the All-Star game in 2022 for the record 18th time. James passed Karl Malone to move into second place on the all-time scoring chart with 37062 points by the end of the previous season. He is the leading active player and ranks third all-time in field goals made now sits behind Russell Westbrook in the active player rankings for triple-doubles. James is also a philanthropist who established the “I Promise School” through the LeBron James Family Foundation in an effort to reduce the achievement gap in education in his Ohio hometown of Akron.
Four British males, at least three of whom are from Merseyside, were detained on June 9 in Thessaloniki, a city in northern Greece, after armed police attacked a luxurious property where around 300kg of that cocaine was found inside. Along with the narcotics, a firearm, ammo, mobile phones, and geo-location technology were captured. According to sources, the Lakers player’s number was imprinted on each block of cocaine in that shipment. When one of the smugglers revealed to undercover officers that they had a direct line to “LeBron coke” sources, the smugglers were apprehended.
The gang reportedly claimed to the officer that they directly knew the criminal organization providing the “Lebron” cocaine, with which they had been working with. Although the prosecution of the smugglers is still pending, one thing is certain, LeBron James is clean in the matter, and individuals are trying to damage his reputation in order to profit from it.
