LeBron James’ BRICKS his way to historically embarassing record, Skip Bayless demands criticism from media

The Los Angeles Lakers are facing a must-win Game 4 against Denver Nuggets, the Western Conference Finals have reached a crucial point. LeBron James and his teammates have found it difficult despite the series’ return to Los Angeles. The superstar’s poor shooting, especially from beyond the arc, has become a hot topic, and his harshest critic, Skip Bayless, has not missed the opportunity to voice his criticism.

James, known for his versatility and dominant presence on the court, is currently having the worst three-point shooting stretch of his career. Throughout the 2023 playoffs, James has been very bad with 23% shooting. Among the 216 players who have made a three-pointer in the playoffs, James ranks a disappointing 134th. This level of performance is unacceptable for the superstar, who has consistently showcased his offensive ability throughout his 20-year career.

As the Lakers face an uphill battle in the Western Conference Finals, the team must find a way to turn the tide and avoid a destructive series sweep. LeBron James and his teammates need to reassess their approach and emphasize their strengths rather than relying on their struggling three-point shooting.

It is clear that the Lakers are not a three-point shooting team, and while occasional shots from beyond the arc are essential, they must prioritize their strengths. James, Anthony Davis, and D’Angelo Russell should focus on attacking the rim, The Nuggets lack formidable rim protectors, providing an opportunity for the Lakers.

For Russell, a shift towards utilizing his mid-range game could prove beneficial. The young guard has shown comfort and skill in that area, and by leveraging this strength, he can increase his scoring output and draw fouls from the opposition.

Essentially, the Lakers must modify their game strategy to accommodate their skills rather than following the methods used by other teams in the league. They can increase their chances of making a comeback by doing this. But it’s still unclear whether the Lakers can escape their current situation.
