LeBron James is one of the most popular celebrities in the world right now. As such, he exerts a great deal of power and influence on what goes on. It’s also easier for him to do things that he wants to happen since he has a huge number of contacts throughout the world. While his level of influence is undoubtedly huge, former NBA superstar Kevin Garnett thought it was even further than the public’s belief.

Recently, Garnett said on record that LeBron James could stop the Israel-Palestine war if he wanted to. For the unversed, the Israel-Palestine war is a conflict between the two countries that has led to the displacement of thousands and has even killed thousands of men, women, and children. It doesn’t look like the war will stop anytime soon. This is what Kevin Garnett said about James’ capability:

This is what makes Garnett’s claim much more astonishing. The fact he believed that James could stop a war like this if he wanted to shows that he has tremendous respect for James.

However, it seems likely that James’ intervention would be able to stop a war of this magnitude. While he can try to raise awareness about the horrors of the war, it seems unlikely he’ll be able to stop it. Hopefully, for the millions of people involved, the war will be able to reach a quick resolution.

What has LeBron James said about the war?

LeBron James has not said a lot about the war yet. However, he has released a joint statement with Maverick Carter through the SpringHill Company, saying that he stood with Israel.

They called the situation and devastation in Israel tragic and unacceptable. Their exact quotes were:

This statement has not gone down well with fans of his, who have criticized the star for siding with Israel. Fans left that LeBron sided with the wrong party. He has not further commented on the situation and, given the nature of the situation, is unlikely to again.
