As the football Maestro Lionel Messi eyed a debut at the Major League Soccer debut, everyone was contemplating what would happen and how would the little “Ankara” Messi perform. Messi was all set to play make his debut for Inter Miami against Cruz Azul yesterday, just when the eyes of Americans and world NBA fans alike were filled with awe as arguably the two best players of their respective sports shared a frame.
LeBron James went over to Messi and gave him a warm welcome hug to the United States. As it turned out, not just the Inter Miami fans but many renowned celebrities made sure that the DRV PNK stadium was filled to the brink.
As the match-winning goal was hit by Messi in the 94th minute, many celebrities including LeBron took to Twitter to sing praises of the soccer maestro. “INCREDIBLE!!!! [goat emoji]” was what he had to say as he donned the Argentinian legend as the G.O.A.T.
Who else was there at the stadium to watch Lionel Messi?

The world’s biggest stars showed up at the sold-out DRV PNK stadium for the maestro’s debut at David Beckham-owned Inter Miami. The star-studded lineup at the stadium was not only limited to LeBron James and tennis legend Serena Williams, but was also graced by the presence of Kim Kardashian and former NBA champion at the Cavaliers, Tristan Thompson.
LeBron too sure has some earlier connections with Miami, considering him winning two consecutive NBA championships with the Heat back in the day. As the magic of LeBron sprays on the basketball court, Messi’s magic poured over the soccer field as he hit the last-minute free-kick.
Messi, with his goal, has taken over the hearts of the whole of the US. To come to Inter Miami, Messi had reportedly turned down a $400 million offer from the Saudi Arabian soccer league, which is the highest offer ever made to any player.
