The Brooklyn Nets traded Spencer Dinwiddie on the last day of the trade deadline. He was traded to the Toronto Raptors for Dennis Schroder and afterwards, he was waived by the Raptors making the guard a free agent. The Los Angeles Lakers and Diwiddie’s former team, the Dallas Mavericks are rumoured to be the front runners to acquire the player.

During the post-game interview of Lakers vs New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, LeBron James was asked about Dinwiddie. He was asked what Dinwiddie would bring to the Lakers. To which, he responded by saying that Dinwiddie could add playmaking.

After the Mavericks games, Dinwiddie was also seen talking with Mark Cuban. But the Lakers will try to buy out Dinwiddie as he is a free agent now. According to LeBron James, Dinwiddie would be a good addition to the Lakers.

Only time will tell where the player might end up. It seems as if Dinwiddie is considering both of his options while making the final choice.
