LeBron James has had an illustrious career made out of poster dunks, buzzer beaters and pretty applaud-worthy attacking prowess. With multiple speculations around his time at the Lakers, We’ve got to wait a few months to know whether the 4x Champ stays and gets another attempt for the Lakers’ 18th title or he gets traded. However, fans of King James can rest assured that if there is one team he isn’t going to, it’s the Boston Celtics, one which he hates to the core and has been despising for the past decade or so.

The LA Lakers are getting all the limelight this postseason as they welcome newly appointed Darvin Ham as their new Head Coach for the 2022-2023 season. The Los Angeles Lakers star-studded team not making into the playoffs was and has been one of the biggest talking points in and around the world of NBA. LeBron James joined the Lakers, he brought with him with a pre-existing rivalry with the Celtics as well. “The Big 3” of Boston had beaten his Cleveland Cavaliers teams before he went on to join the Miami Heat and effectively ended their title hopes for the foreseeable future. This was clearly something that gave Bron pleasure, too. The 18x All-Star has had numerous matchups with the East Coast Giants throughout his time in the Miami. The King said something hilarious and dark about his mother, Gloria James, in a 2012 interview-

The 2008 Celtics Championship team was a stellar group of player. Members of that Celtics championship team, which included Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo, Allen left Boston in 2012 to join LeBron James’ Miami Heat in the 2012-13 season, who had eliminated the Celtics in the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals, and eventually became NBA Champions.

We know how much James loves his mother. So, just imagine the intensity of this feeling that started maybe in the 2007-08 season. The 37-year-old made it to his first NBA Finals within 4 years of making it to the NBA. But the then 22-year-old met Tim Duncan and his Spurs in the 2007 Finals and lost 4-0. He must have thought of winning it all in the upcoming years having tasted some glory winning the East, but would fail to even do that for the next three years. Two out of those three were against the Big 3 of Boston Celtics in the Conference Semi-finals of 2008 and 2010.

After LeBron James went to Miami, he got his revenge, beating the Celtics in 5 games, but he’d go on to lose in the 2011 NBA Finals. James would meet the Celtics again in 2012, and here he’d beat them in 7 games, en route to his first ring with the Heat. After that it carnage from Lebron as he dominated the Eastern Conference and snatched the reigns from the Celtics, winning the next 3 playoff series against Boston and losing just 4 games in those 3 series.

“It’s not a failure at all,” James said. “We came to work every single day, but our hard hats were on, and tried to get better every day. And the results just didn’t happen for us. But it’s not a failure.” The Lakers had a drastically poor record of 33-49 , as they move on from this nightmarish season , they will have to make plenty of moves to get back on track.

As LeBron gets ready for the upcoming season, the team will have to give him more reinforcements to bring back the legacy of the Lakers. If the Celtics are to somehow beat the Warriors this season and win another NBA title, both James and Laker nation will be itching to get back to the top and find a way to put them back in their place next season.
