LeBron James is playing at an unbelievably high level in his 21st season. The latest highlight reel performance came against the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday.

The In-Season Tournament semi-finals between the Pelicans and the Los Angeles Lakers was a must-watch game. With ex-Lakers player Brandon Ingram now donning the Pelicans jersey, the game was touted as a sure-fire revenge game for the most part.

Significantly, the highest all-time scorer in league history took over the game. James went hot for 11 straight points, which included three straight 3-pointers, a couple of which were from the logo.

This high level of play from LeBron James, playing at the age of 38, was not something fans expected. His Lakers routed the New Orleans Pelicans 133-89 at Las Vegas. James put up 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists to lead the Lakers to the In-Season Tournament finals.

The domination of James and the Lakers was in such a fashion that all three all-star players of the Pelicans combined for 31 points. James, in contrast, almost covered the three of them. The Lakers pulled away from the second quarter onwards.

Fans losing it with LeBron James heating Pelicans game

Fans were treated to a classic LeBron James show. James heating up for 11 straight points was instrumental in the Lakers pulling away from the Pelicans.

The superstar has one eye on the In-Season Tournament championship. This will certainly add a feather in his cap.

As seen in the quarter-final game, James is putting on a show. Up against a minute restriction, the 38-year-old is playing lights out. Some fans were quick to react on seeing James’ performance.

This effort from James is inching him closer to the In-Season Tournament championship. It seems the fans want to see more of James after this incredible performance.
