Several players around the NBA, notably LeBron James and Dwayne Wade, were impressed by Curry’s performance. Curry’s 43-point explosion in the playoffs drew a reaction from the Los Angeles Lakers forward and former Miami Heat superstar on Twitter. Curry, 34, joins LeBron James and Michael Jordan as the only players in NBA Finals history to score 40 points or more in a game when they are 34 or older. James may have been aware of the accomplishment he was about to celebrate with Curry because he has been open about his admiration for the Warriors’ superstar on Twitter.

After tweeting during Curry’s third-quarter flurry, LeBron replied to a tweet from former teammate Dwyane Wade during the game with some impressive praise for the Warriors’ superstar, who has faced his fair share of doubters and haters despite reaching his sixth NBA Finals in eight seasons. Dwyane Wade was equally astounded, responding to Curry’s critics while also praising the Warriors player in the same tweet.
