The Michael Jordan vs. LeBron James GOAT debate has continued to be a popular topic of conversation among the NBA community. This Monday, former Los Angeles Lakers forward Michael Beasley voiced his views, believing James ought to win the battle.
He feels that the LeBron James vs. Michael Jordan debate is over and that Jordan supporters ought to move on. Nate Robinson, another NBA veteran, took offense at Beasley’s remarks and retaliated.
Nate Robinson didn’t hold back when he learned of Michael Beasley’s defense of LeBron James as the greatest player in basketball history. Robinson dismantled his former NBA teammate in an Instagram comment, sparking a brief argument that went viral on the platform.

Nate Robinson, who fought LeBron James for a large portion of his career. Michael Beasley, meanwhile, was LeBron’s teammate and continues to stand up for him. The debaters are constantly changing, not the subject—James vs. Jordan.
Robinson found it difficult to get away with his remarks, and Beasley made sure he responded to the Knicks legend with firmness. The 35-year-old celebrity retorted to Robinson’s same statement.

Although it never really did, it doesn’t appear like this comment is ending the discussion. In the NBA today, LeBron is undoubtedly famous to some extent, but he doesn’t have the same global following as Michael did, which speaks volumes about how well-liked he was in the past.
