Charleston White gained attention on Saturday, December 9, 2023, when he got into a fight with a patron during his performance in Crockett, Texas. Charleston White began addressing the crowd about the legitimacy of the 2020 NBA finals, in which LeBron James Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat, as he was scheduled for a Christmas-themed event.
Two Lakers fans, however, were offended by Charleston White’s remarks and interrupted the comedian in the middle. Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco talked about the incident on their show “Nightcap”. As they talked about what had happened, Ochocinco advised Charleston to tell the truth. Shannon, on the other hand, stood up for Charleston and claimed that he would have beaten his a** if he had been in his shoes.

Ochocinco said:
He's a very smart intellectual guy, and he purposely dumbs it down. He should be talking cash Sh*t to and about everybody
Ochocinco, meanwhile, questioned Shannon about what he would have done in that circumstance. Shannon firmly replied
Beat his a**.
He said:
I'm paid to be up here. You ain't going to rush on stage. They paid to see you.
Charleston White replied to the audience by saying he got paid
The contentious comedian was scheduled to perform at a Christmas-themed event in Crockett, Texas, on Saturday night. LeBron James and Anthony Davis led the Los Angeles Lakers to victory over the Miami Heat in the 2020 NBA Finals. It was reported that the comedian questioned the legitimacy of that series during his set. Charleston’s remarks did not appear to sit well with two Lakers supporters in the audience.

Charleston told the crowd:
Na, I don't give a damn if I get booed. I already got paid.
Then Charleston pulled a flower vase off the platform and said:
Take out some cash." I'm going to hit you on your goddamn head, p****y a** .
The man yelled as she threw it at his head. The man and another person wearing a Lakers jersey ran onto the stage, and we could hear the audience gasping.
As seen in the video, Charleston was tossing the microphone in the direction of the first man before moving to the other side of the stage, the scene descended into chaos. When the comedian reaches for a chair, the second Lakers fan tackles him before he can swing it, and the brawl carries over into the stage wing. It’s something that doesn’t happen in a standard stand up set.
