LeBron James, during the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night at the Crypto.com Arena, got upset after a fan wrapped his arms around him on the sidelines.

Videos shared on popular social media site X, formerly known as Twitter, showed James upset after the incident occurred, with a steward ushering the fan away from the scene.

Neither LeBron James nor the Los Angeles Lakers have released a statement regarding the incident that occurred at the arena. The Lakers however were able to put the incident behind them and return to winning ways.

At the same time, there’s another video that surfaced on X that showed the fan being ushered out after posing a security risk to the LA Lakers superstar.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis combined for 52 points to help the Lakers return to winning ways (112-105) against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game also saw them produce what was a strong second half defensive performance by the Lakers. The team has experienced a terrible run of form ever since being crowned NBA Cup champions last year.

Following back-to-back losses to the Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz, the Lakers were in dire need of a victory on their home court against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The first quarter saw the Lakers make 11 out of 25 field goals (44%), and the shooting percentage dipped slightly in the second quarter to 9 out of 23 (39.1%). However, the second half showcased an improved performance as the Lakers recorded 14 out of 20 (70%) in the third quarter and 10 out of 16 (62.5%) in the fourth quarter.

On the other side, the Oklahoma City Thunder faced challenges, being compelled to attempt more shots from beyond the arc. Their success rate from three-point range was 15 out of 49 attempts (30.6%). In contrast, from inside the two-point mark, they achieved a success rate of 25 out of 47 (53.2%).

In the concluded game, LeBron James showcased his prowess, accumulating 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Meanwhile, Anthony Davis dominated the statistical charts with 27 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Throughout this season, James has maintained an impressive average of 24.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game, shooting at a remarkable field goal percentage of 55.2. On the other hand, AD has been contributing with an average of 25.1 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game, boasting a field goal percentage of 55.1.
