LeBron James has had an illustrious career made out of poster dunks, buzzer beaters and pretty applaud-worthy attacking prowess, however, basketball is not his only field of expertise. Adam Sandler’s new movie ‘Hustle’, starring Juancho Hernangomez and whose executive producer is King James himself, will be out soon on Netflix. Adam Sandler featured on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy asked Adam about his movie on Netflix, ‘Hustle’. Everyone who follows LeBron, the surrounding people, his friends, and his family knows that he has an amazing sense of humor. Just like Adam Sandler, who revealed a hilarious suggestion from LeBron.
The King is in the chase to become the first billionaire athlete before even retiring. Already having a net worth in surplus of $850 million, he’s not shying away from making his company SpringHill Entertainment a top production house in the business, even if it means he’s distracted from basketball. Prior to the release on the streaming giant, Netflix, there was a red carpet premiere of the movie, where reporters and critics could get a firsthand look at the final cut of the movie. At the premiere, LeBron James, Adam Sandler, and Juancho Hernangomez arrived and took pictures with each other.
LeBron James, Adam Sandler, and Juancho Hernangomez were guests at the premiere of ‘Hustle’. Both Sandler and Hernangomez are leading stars of the movie, whereas LeBron James was working backstage to make this movie a success. Adam Sandler is a big fan of the NBA, and the Hollywood star has been an avid follower of the league for decades at this point. Sandler has also combined his passion for sports with his career.

In 2022, Adam Sandler is all hands on deck with the premiere of his inspirational sports drama, ‘Hustle’ . Sandler leads as Stanley Sugerman, a down-on-his luck basketball scout for the Philadelphia 76ers who, while abroad discovers Bo Cruz, whose role is played by none other than Juancho Hernangómez , a once-in-a-lifetime player with a rocky past. Sandler’s scout takes it upon himself to bring the phenom to America without his team’s approval. Against the odds, Stanley and Bo have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA.
The “Happy Gilmore” actor revealed that it was “The King” who had called him and offered a partnership about the movie. James’ SpringHill Company had the script and is one of three production companies involved, as Adam promoted the movie on ‘The Tonight Show’ with Jimmy Falcon. Adam explained everything about the movie and how everything came to place, while unveiling a hilarious moment with King James himself.
“His company, LeBron’s company and Joe Roth, they had this great script,” Sandler said. “It was about a scout discovering someone oversees, bringing him into the NBA and it was awesome. I got to know LeBron a little bit and asked him,” Sandler said. “I do play a lot of hoops so I wanted to get a quick tip. And I said, ‘Anything you suggest to fix my game?’ And he goes, ‘It’s very simple. You should definitely get a full body transplant.’ And so I said, ‘Yeah, I’m gonna do that‘ ” Adam chuckled as he reminisced the exchange with Lebron.
A basketball superfan, Sandler had previously teamed up with NBA legend Kevin Garnett in the 2019 crime thriller Uncut Gems. When asked if Hustle was just an excuse for Sandler to work with more of his favorite players, he told Variety, “It was a lucky thing. They sent me the script, and it was something that I knew I would be excited to come to work every day doing.” The cast also featured numerous past and current NBA stars including Kenny Smith, Trae Young, Kyle Lowry, Anthony Edwards and Seth Curry, among others.
Hustle is a movie which shows a glimpse of how an overseas player comes to the NBA with an ambition and makes it big. It was released on Netflix on 3rd June in the US. It stars Adam Sandler as the scout and NBA legend Kenny Smith as his best friend in the movie. Current NBA and Utah Jazz player Juancho Hernangomez as Bo Cruz the upcoming star in the movie. Adam certainly has got some hooping moves, maybe he could go work with Lebron on his dunking.
