LeBron James is generally very good at getting foul calls because of his high IQ. But this time when the fouls got too much, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar voiced his opinion during the game on the court.

Playing against a resurgent Memphis Grizzlies, James was getting a lot of attention from the opposing team. Time and again, he got some calls from the referees, while missing out on quite a few as well. A new leaked video shows LeBron James shouting at the opposing team saying:

F*ck! Y’all need to stop fouling like a motherf*cker

James generally does not trash-talk with opposing players. But it seems this time it got too much for the King.

Such was the heat at that moment that a few moments later, James was heard talking to the referee to give him the ball ASAP. The referee mentioned that he was responding to Desmond Bane‘s question, as James asked him to do it ‘another time.’ It seems the situations building up on the court got James heated.

James playing in his 21st season has always been known for his high basketball IQ. However, even the all-time leading scorer in league history can get ruffled when things get heated. There is a belief that James’ late outburst against Jaren Jackson Jr. may have been a result of this game-long tension.

Did the Grizzlies win the mind games against LeBron James?

Heading into the 3rd quarter it seemed Grizzlies were struggling against the King and the Los Angeles Lakers. However, a 4th quarter surge helped the Grizzlies beat the Lakers 127-113. This was despite 32 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals from James.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 31 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks. The Grizzlies had 4 of their 5 starters posting 20+ points. The Lakers in comparison only had two. Two costly turnovers and 4 missed free throws from James added to the Lakers’ woes. Upcoming games between the two teams will show if the tension carries over.
