Giannis Antetokounmpo has done incredible things for himself over the last half a decade. Many believe that this a new era and the Greek Freak is the face of it. He has completely dominant over the best of the absolute best in the league on both sides of the court.

In the last five years, he won himself the league’s Most Valuable Player award back to back. When he won his second MVP award in 2020, he was also crowned as the defensive player of the year. In 2021, he helped break the 50 year drought of the Milwaukee Bucks and won himself his first ring at the age of 26. His journey has only just begun.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is not the only one in his family to play in the NBA. In fact, he has two other brothers who are NBA champions as well. Thanks Thanasis, his older brother is also part of the league and has been for quite sometime. He won his first ring with Giannis in 2021.

Their younger brother, Kostas played with the Los Angeles Lakers from 2019-20 during their championship run. He has not played in the league since but plays in France still. The youngest among them, Alex has been balling out in the G League. All four of them will be representing Greece in Eurobasket.

LeBron James has been the godfather of the league for almost two decades now. Being the league’s big brother, he showed his peers some support after being announced to represent their home team in Europe. Here is what he said to Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Giannis obviously has a lot of experience playing with LeBron James and has shown great potential of taking over as the face of the league. The Greek Freak averaged 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game finishing among the top five MVP candidates last season.  This will not be the last time he comes into debate for the award or contention for another ring.
